GBV LEVEL 2 TRAINING – DATES AVAILABLE FOR 2026
Bookings are now open for upcoming sessions of Gender-Based Violence Level 2 training taking place in Shetland throughout 2026.
Developed with input from local specialist services, this in-person training equips frontline workers with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to gender-based violence (GBV), while strengthening referral pathways to support across our community.

The course also highlights local and national statistics and explores the importance of coordinated, trauma-informed responses in line with Scotland’s Equally Safe strategy.
The training is free for SIC, NHS, and local third sector employees, and is suitable for anyone working in areas such as:
– teaching
– social work
– social care
