JUNIOR CRAFTIVISM CLUB RETURNS THIS JUNE

We are delighted to announce the return of Junior Craftivism Club this June, with sessions taking place at Brae Community Hall.

Open to all young people aged 8–14, the club offers a fun and welcoming space to get creative, meet new people, and make a positive difference in the community together. Across four Friday sessions, participants will take part in activities including slime-making, collaborative community art, painting for a local care centre, and a mindful creative walk.

The club was developed to create a safe, creative space where young people can connect, express themselves, and explore how creativity can make a positive impact in the community.

Facilitated by staff from our Children and Young People’s Service, Junior Craftivism Club is open to children and young people of all genders, and attendees do not need to be clients of Shetland Women’s Aid to take part.

Thanks to funding from BBC Children in Need, all sessions are completely free. However, spaces are limited and advance booking is now required.
